Other things you need to realize about group classes

A few days ago we talked about how Group Classes sound like a good idea on the surface, but they cause way more problems than they solve because there’s too much going on to really create a good space for your pup’s learning.

Today we are going to talk about another common misconception with group classes.

And that’s the “I can just drop in and I’ll get exactly what I need.”

Unfortunately that couldn’t be further from the truth.

The reason’s because the class is designed to accommodate a bunch of different people with their unique dogs.

You’re never going to be able to get the exact training you, and your dog, need at the depth you deserve because you’re sharing that one-hour with 5-10+ people and their pups that have their unique needs too.

And it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll get all your individual questions answered. You’re jockeying for the trainers attention with all those other people.

Every dog’s different and struggles with different issues.

So, in a group class setting, you’re “fighting” for the instructors time with 5 or 10 other people and THEIR DOGS.

Technically, if there’s 10 people in the class and it’s a hour long, you only get 6 mins with that trainer.

SIX MINUTES!

There’s no way you’re not going to be able to address everything YOUR DOG needs.

You’re basically paying for other people to get the help they need, rather than getting you the help you need.

Having to share that hour with 5 or 10 other people and dogs means you’re limited on your time AND you’re limited on how many questions you get to have solved for you.

Not to mention… what if you can’t make a class because you have a PTA meeting, or a work function, or some other last minute emergency. (Why do they always manage to pop up at the least convenient time?)

Now you’re an entire week behind. And once you fall behind it feels impossible to make it up in any way.

With today’s busy world you need an IMMERSIVE program for your pup to get all the attention they need.

OR…

You need a program that can cater to your always changing schedule so you can learn on YOUR time and thus get the results you desire.

That’s the only way you and your dog will get the training you need and the training you’re paying for.

PLUS: Whenever you’re ready… here are 2 ways I can help your Four Legged Furry Family Member

1. Book your pup for a Board and Train

My favorite thing to do is to help people with their dogs. If you have a particularly reactive pup the Board and Train (B&T) is exactly what the doctor ordered to help you improve all kinds of behaviors. If you’d like to learn more about my B&T just reply to this email with “B&T” in the subject line.

2. Join our Fusion Program and be a Case Study

I’m putting together a new Fusion Program case study group this month… stay tuned for details. If you’d like to work with me on your improving your life with your pup… just reply to this message and put “Fusion Program” in the subject line.
