What to do if your dog gets car sick…
Everything I describe should be done in small simple steps.
Start with just being in the car with the doors open, engine not running. Your goal is to make it a calm comfortable, enjoyable experience. Use treats, affection or play (whatever the dog likes) to ensure the dog is having a good time. Stop while the dog is having a good time.
Next time shut the doors, still don’t move and be sure it’s a positive experience. Take the puppy out while it’s having fun. Then do it again for longer, doors shut, engine on maybe just go to end of driveway and back.

Then go for a little longer ride to a local fun spot for the dog
Continue in small steps that are interrupted in the middle of the fun (food and positive experience). Eventually the puppy could be comfortable and not get get sick.
OR…… you can try a convertible.
